Special K-TIG Welding Machine
The special K-TIG welding machine is similar to the special PAW welding machine in terms of welding function, it is also mainly used for automatic welding of longitudinal seam and circular seam of the circular workpiece such as cylinder, elbow, pipe flange and so on, and also for automatic welding of longitudinal seam of plate butt-join. As a new welding process, K-TIG welding is perfect upgraded of plasma welding, in addition to the welding characteristics of single-sided welding and double-sided forming of plasma welding, it also perfectly makes up for the inability of plasma welding to weld thick plates and relatively high requirements for workpiece assembly. The unique arc control technology of K-TIG welding and the special structure of the welding torch determine the characteristics of welding thick plates and relatively loose requirements for workpiece assembly. Different welding tooling can be selected according to different workpieces and process requirements. K-TIG welding can be selected as single welding process, using K-TIG welding for back welding and K-TIG welding for filler wire cover welding, and can also be combined with TIG welding or SAW welding to form composite welding process, using K-TIG welding for back welding and TIG welding or SAW welding for filler wire cover welding. The components and welding applications of this equipment are highly similar to those of the special PAW welding machine, the only difference is that K-TIG welding process can weld thicker materials than PAW welding process.
Extended Description
The special K-TIG welding machine can choose the single welding process of K-TIG, but more often, according to the different thickness of the workpiece, it chooses to form composite welding process with TIG or composite welding process with SAW. Generally, it will not form composite welding process with other welding processes.
The special K-TIG welding machine is perfect upgraded version of the special PAW welding machine, and the market demand is increasing. However, considering that the equipment is expensive, and the welding tooling is different and the configuration is different, it is designed and manufactured only after orders, and the date of delivery is undetermined.
